Walt Disney's record company was originally named Disneyland Records established in 1956. The first release was called "A Child's Garden of Verses", mostly music and poetry relating to Disney cartoons.

From the youtuber ProfEmelius:Did you know Disneyland was a TV show before it became a theme park? Walt Disney called his show Disneyland in order to promote the park that was being built in Anaheim. The show premiered one year before Disneyland the park opened. The TV show's name changed to Walt Disney Presents in 1959, then became the Wonderful World of Color in 1961 when the show became one of the first weekly series to be broadcast in full color. Then in 1969 it became The Wonderful World of Disney, the name the show is best known by today.
